About
Joe Doe
Joe Doe is a frontender by trade and the character behind several others: the one who plays, the one who shoots film, the one who makes games, the one who keeps a shelf of the web. Less résumé, more things made.
What this is
joedoe.dev brings all of that together. Each project has its own site — the guitar app, the live coding studio, the fediverse guide, Analoxik for film photography, games like Voxel Arena and Tour Shot, Rest in Trees, and the archive of hip hop in Sant Sadurní — and this is where they meet.
The other half is a frontend shelf, because that is the trade: Links holds the bookmarks worth returning to, Frontenders the people I learn from, Art code used as a material, News the last month, Roadmap what I would tell someone starting out, and Tools and the Lab small utilities and demos. All of it built for my own workflow first — if it helps you too, take what you need.
The vibe
Curious, slightly anonymous, and obsessed with how interfaces feel — motion, type, color, and the small details between clicks.
Setup
I work in VSCode on Ubuntu, and most of the speed comes from twenty shortcuts rather than any plugin. The ones I actually use are here: my VSCode shortcuts.
